Sabrina Laumer was born in Rangoon, Burma where her father was a diplomat in the American Embassy. In her childhood, Sabrina also lived in London, San Antonio, and the backwoods of Florida.
Her Father, Keith Laumer, retired from the Service when she was nine to devote himself full time to his career as a Science Fiction writer. Sabrina’s Mother was her spiritual educator, as well as an accomplished model, seamstress and cook. Sabrina is grateful to her parents for having strongly influenced and supported her artistic developments.
She earned her degree in Studio Art from the University of the Incarnate Word, and pursued post-graduate studies at UT and Trinity University in San Antonio. She now lives in Shreveport, Louisiana with her 19-year-old daughter who is an actress and filmmaker.
Sabrina Laumer’s painting is inspired by her spiritual aspirations of service to humanity. Sabrina Laumer has dedicated her life to bringing in to being images that will uplift and inspire the human soul
